PCGS 1966 SMS Kennedy half obverse missing clad layer, with the clad layer missing before strike. The split side is on the coin's obverse, with traces of copper showing through the silvery surfaces.
The coin is a scarcer "SMS" (special mint set) issue, intended for the special mint sets that the Mint released as an alternative to proof sets that year.
PCGS (1971-2023-D) clad Kennedy half dollar struck with a 20% indent obverse and also a partial collar strike. Indents this large are scarce on Kennedy halves. A nice example. MS64
PCGS clad Kennedy half struck 60% off-center. A major off-center, and in the ideal range for off-centers of 40-60% off.
MS64 lustrous and good eye-appeal.
