NGC 1986-S silver American Eagle struck on emory sanding disc, and with a uniface reverse. The coin has the obverse design visible, but because it was struck on top of a silver eagle planchet, has no design on that side. This is how virtually all known examples were produced. Some black ink is visible on the reverse, which doubtless is a portion of the emory paper's make or grit number.
Housed in an oversized NGC ultra thick holder, which makes for a nice presentation.
NGC certified (NGC does not assign grades to these, but we grade it MS63
NGC 1986 silver eagle partial collar strike. The coin shows a minor partial collar from about 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Partial collar strikes are very scarce on silver eagles.
