PCGS (2011) 5c nickel Martha Washington experimental, with the coin one that was part of a series of metal tests done in order to look into different metals for U.S. coinage. There are a number of different metals they tested, but this one is comprised of a metal alloy that is (approximately) 77% Copper, 20% Nickel, 2.5% Manganese.

The dies used to strike this are "nonsense" dies, with the words all backwards, or a jumble of letters. The reverse features a building which apparently is a mix of Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home) and Mount Vernon (Martha Washington's home.) A truly interesting an unusual experimental! It is listed as J-2210

All known examples of these 2011-2013 Martha Washington experimentals are waffle-cancelled, and only 2 of this particular metal and size are known to us (including this example.)
