PCGS 1929-S standing liberty quarter broadstruck out of collar, with the coin being a centered broadstrike. The coin was struck outside of the collar die, which is why it is missing its reeding on the edge.
Standing liberty quarter errors are rare as a series, with broadstrikes and other striking errors being very scarce, with only a small number known.
MS62 with original surfaces that exhibit golden/brown toning and lots of luster. There are some minor scratches on the reverse, which are old and toned over (common on errors like this, and often simply put into the coin's numeric grade as a result.)
