NGC 1956 Franklin half struck on silver 25c planchet, with a weight of 6.3 grams. The coin is smaller than a normal half dollar, with much of the outer letters missing, and no reeding on the edge.

The error occurred when a quarter planchet was fed into a press that was striking half dollars, and was struck, resulting in a wrong planchet error Franklin half on quarter planchet.

MS63 with lustrous surfaces that are mostly white, and with just a hint of golden toning. Good eye-appeal!
