PCGS 1976 bicentennial quarter struck on a clad dime planchet. The coin is the weigh of a dime at around 2.27 grams, and is much smaller than a normal quarter, with portions of the design, and almost all the lettering missing on the obverse. Dramatic in appearance as a result, and great eye-appeal!

A small strike thru on the obverse, which is probably from a thin piece of planchet from another coin.

Very rare as a bicentennial quarter on a dime planchet, with only an estimated 10 business strikes known. It is the first example we can recall having in stock! Very tough to find.

MS64 with original surfaces, and light white/brown toning.
