PCGS 1978 Lincoln cent struck on clad dime planchet. The coin is clad, and is the weight and metal of a dime. Dramatic in appearance, with the clad surfaces contrasting greatly with a normal cent's copper surfaces.

The error occurred when a clad dime planchet intended for striking into a Roosevelt dime, but which was instead struck in a press that was striking Lincoln cents.

MS65 lustrous and light steel-blue toning.
