FUN Coin Show Report 2025
The Fun coin show 2025, held in Orlando, Florida, was an excellent coin show. A large number of dealers and collectors were in attendance, as aways, and amongst them were many mint error collectors. CONECA (the mint error club) had a table, promoting their error coin club. If you are not a member, you can join online. Also, we saw a lot of young numismatists at the show, which is always welcome as they are the future of the hobby.
Buying and selling was active, with many error coins sold and we also purchased a quantity from dealers and collectors. Activity was brisk, and starting Thursday morning, it was non-stop. Friday was busy, and only slightly slower than the prior day. Saturday is usually a more “collector” and “new collector” day, with a good amount of attendance but fewer serious buyers. Overall, an excellent show (as the Winter FUN always is!)
A number of our customers stopped by, to see, show, or talk “error coins.” A few neat coins showed up, including a proof bicentennial Ike dollar flipover double-struck, which the original owner had found in a proof set—cherrypicking is possible, even for major proof errors! A 1965 silver cent also came to us at the show, and will be posted for sale on the website in the next few weeks—a rare coin indeed.
Look for fresh mint errors to be posted on the website in the coming weeks as we get the processed, photographed, and listed on the website.
