PCGS (1986-2025) gold American eagle 1/10 ounce T-1 blank. The blank has no upset rim, and has mirrored surfaces. The blank was punched out of the sheet of gold planchet strip, but never made it to the upset mill to have the rim raised, and also somehow escaped the West Point Mint without being struck.

Type-1 blank 1/10 gold eagles are very rare, and we've only heard of a very few examples existing. We've only seen 2 or 3 examples, although perhaps a few more exist.

MS63 with mirrored fields and just light white toning.
