PCGS 1907-S Barber quarter struck 5% off-center at 10:00. The con shows a large amount of planchet, and is very scarce as a Barber quarter off-center. Very few Barber quarter off-centers exist, and an estimated 12-15 examples of off-centers are known for the series. This is one of the nicest examples known, being a high grade and a solid 5% off. Unique as the only "S" mint off-center Barber quarter known!

The error happened when a planchet was fed incorrectly into the press and struck out of collar and also off-center. Barber quarters are silver, and so were carefully minted with errors being caught and destroyed. Very few Barber quarter errors of any kind made it out of the Mints.
