PCGS 1920 buffalo nickel struck on a cent planchet. The coin weighs 3.03 grams, and is copper instead of the normal nickel planchet. It is dramatic in appearance, with the copper surfaces contrasting with the expected "nickel" of a normal buffalo nickel.

A scarce error type on buffalo nickels, with about 75 known for the series. This is the most available year, making if the most affordable as well.

VF25 with medium brown toning. A pleasing example.
