ANACS 1943 Lincoln wheat cent struck on a silver dime planchet. The coin is an off-metal, and is struck on the silver planchet intended for striking a Mercury dime. The coin is smaller is thinner than a normal cent, and weighs about 2.5 grams. It is silver, and noticeable different than a normal steel cent. 

 

1943 cents on dime planchets are popular due to the one year 1943 steel cent. Off-metals for this year are very much in demand, with the most valuable mint error in the world, the 1943 copper cent, being of this year.
