PCGS 1950-S Lincoln wheat cent struck on a silver dime planchet. The coin is struck on the silver planchet intended for striking into a silver dime, but which was instead struck with cent dies. It weights around 2.5 grams, and is silver. Also, it is struck thru, with the reverse showing portions of the design missing, and also some on the obverse.
This is a rare date for cents on dime planchets, and estimated to be 1-2 known for this date and mintmark.
XF details gouged, with a deep pair of scratches on the reverse.
