PCGS 1951 wheat cent struck on a silver dime blank. The coin weighs 2.54 grams, and is silver, instead of copper. The coin is struck on the blank intended for striking into a Roosevelt dime, instead of the copper planchet for a cent. The last "1" in the 1951 date is faint, but discernible.
A scarce date for cent on dime planchets.
PCGS XF details scratched, with the scratches almost all on the reverse. The coin is lightly cleaned (not noted on holder.) Light toning.
