PCGS 1953-D Jefferson nickel double-struck, with the 2nd strike 93% off-center and uniface reverse. The 2nd strike shows part of "LIBERTY" and th eback of Jefferson's head.
This is a very rare date for double-struck nickels!
AU58 with lustrous surfaces which are mostly white. The coin was lightly cleaned, although not noted on the holder, and has a minor scratch.
