NGC 1970-D Lincoln cent 2-coin mated pair set, with the two coins fitting together to form a single coin. Coin#1 is a triple strike saddle-strike, and the larger off-center strike fits into the brockage on coin#2. On coin#2, the coin has the brockage but also is a dramatic on-center double-strike, with a large portion of the design visible of the 1st strike.
A mated pair with great eye-appeal, and exceptional.
MS63 Brown with pleasing surfaces, and just a few spots reverse which are normal for the grade.
NGC 1978 off-metal Jefferson nickel struck on a cent planchet. The coin is struck on the 3.1 gram bronze planchet intended for a Lincoln cent. Copper in appearance, and smaller than a normal nickel...
PCGS 1997 Lincoln cent 2-coin mated pair, with coin#1 double-struck, 2nd off-center, and with coin#2 off-center and with a brockage. Nice mated pair set.
