NGC 1971-D Kennedy half obverse mirror brockage, and struck 20% off-center. The coin shows a mirror brockage of the obverse on the reverse side, with a full 2nd date and mintmark, and also with much of the design and lettering visible. A sharp, crisp brockage, and with great eye-appeal! Unique for the date and mintmark, and few are known like this for the Kennedy half series.

NGC certified but did not grade the coin due to the weak strike. It is lustrous and problem free with good eye-appeal! If we graded the coin, we would grade it AU58. It may be uncirculated, though, since the nature of the weak strike makes coins like this very hard to properly grade!
