PCGS 1975-D Jefferson nickel misplaced mintmark, with the coin having the high "D" mintmark, which is positioned up close to the "5" of the "1975" date. There is a fairly high "D", which is not as dramatic or valuable, but this is the true high "D" mintmark. It is even mentioned in the Redbook as an example of a very high positioned mintmark!

A scarce variety, especially in this grade. Most are VF or EX, and many are damaged. This is the highest grade example we can find referenced anywhere.
