PCGS 1976 bicentennial Kennedy half struck on cent planchet. The coin is struck on the copper-alloy Lincoln cent planchet, and is much smaller than a normal half, with much of the outer design missing because of the small size of the cent planchet. Dramatic and eye-catching off-metal, with good eye-appeal.

One of two known business strike 1976 bicentennial halves on cent planchets, and unique for the mint, as this is a Philadelphia Mint, and the other known example is a lower graded (MS63) Denver Mint. The finest known of the two existing 1976 specimens, and a rarity for an advanced off-metal or Kennedy half dollar collection! Ex-Fred Schornstein Collection.

MS64 Brown with problem-free surfaces. The coin has a small retained strike through at 8 o'clock on the obverse and opposite on the reverse, which is an error on the coin.
