NGC 1976-D Lincoln cent struck on a defective clad dime blank. The coin is the weight and metal of a clad Roosevelt dime, and weighs 2.3 grams. 

 

The error occurred when a dime blank was fed into a cent press and was struck, resulting in an off-metal, with the design of a Lincoln cent, but struck on the clad blank that was intended for a Roosevelt dime. 

 

MS65 with lustrous surfaces and a hint of golden/brown toning.
