PCGS 1979 Kennedy half wrong planchet, struck on a Susan B. Anthony dollar planchet. The coin is struck on the smaller $1 planchet, with portions of some of the outer lettering missing, and with a weight of 8.11 grams. 

 

The error occurred when a SBA dollar planchet was fed into a press that was striking Kennedy halves and was struck, resulting in an off-metal 50c on $1 planchet. 

 

Scarce error type. 

 

MS64 with lustrous surfaces and gold toning.
