NGC 1991 1 ounce gold American eagle with a major struck thru reverse, with much of the outer lettering and portions of the design missing. Doubtless struck thru grease, based on the appearance. As nice a struck through grease as you will find on a 1 ounce gold American eagle, in terms of how much design is missing and how dramatic it is in appearance. Scarce like this.
