NGC 2001-P North Carolina quadruple struck, with the 1st strike normal, and then 3 more strikes off-center. Scarcer than the double or triple struck examples!
The coin has the edge dent which is often found on these, and is believed to be caused by the feeder finger injecting the struck coin!
MS62 with moderate gold toning. The small dark specks are pieces of grease that were struck into the coin's surfaces.
