PCGS 2020 American silver eagle with a minor rim clip at 8 o'clock. The rim clip likely occurred when a blanking die overlapped the previously punched out planchet hole in the strip, and the overlap resulting in a small clip.

Clips of any size are rare on silver eagles. This is because of the precious metal content of the coins being of such importance to the Mint, since the coins are bought primarily for the metal content--a lack of "full weight" for the coin's precious metal content is considered of utmost importance to avoid. Because of this, the Mint takes great pains to make sure no clips on bullion coins get out, and very few do. This is one of just a handful of clips we have ever seen on a silver eagle.

MS67 lustrous and just a hint of toning.
