NGC 3 Piece 1996 Silver Eagle Progression set of Struck Through SIlver Eagles MS68, and MS69, and MS69.
The 1st coin has the piece of plastic string or wire-like substance retained at the 8 o’clock area of the obverse. The other two coins show a struck through of that same 1 inch or so length piece. Neat set, and the progression is marked on the holder as 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3.
PCGS 2016 silver American eagle struck thru retained plastic obverse. The plastic threads are retained throughout portions of the struck thru area.
