PCGS (1938-1982) 5c Jefferson nickel double-struck off-center on a defective Lincoln cent blank. The coin is struck on the bronze Lincoln cent planchet with both strikes off-center. Very scarce like this.

The cent planchet is defective, with a classic defective shape in the unstruck planchet area. Many of the nickels struck on defective cent planchets shows this shape of defect, which is caused by some sort of equipment at the Mint.
