minting gold & silver eagles at west point

This video shows the minting of gold and silver bullion coins at the West Point Mint. Interestingly, you can see video footage of what the $1 Silver Eagle proof dies look like, as well as the burnishing of the planchets. There is also footage of the way the planchets are individually struck and removed by hand, making the possibility of errors very slim!
