PCGS Euro 1c mule, with the coin struck with 2 reverse dies. The coin has the same design on both sides of the coin, and and the error occurred when the same design of die was used for both the hammer and anvil die in the coining press. 


Mule errors are very rare on U.S. coins, and world examples such as this present an opportunity to own a mule.
