PCGS 1858 large letter flying eagle cent struck on a tapered planchet. The coin is thinner in the 11 o'clock area, due to the planchet strip being thin in that area when the blank was punched out of the strip.

Tapered planchets are scarce on the short lived flying eagle cent series.
