PCGS (1964) Kennedy half double-struck on silver dime planchet, and with a uniface obverse on the 2nd strike. The coin is struck on the much smaller dime planchet, and is the weight and metal of a silver dime. Although no date is visible, it is struck on a silver dime planchet, which would mean it is a 1964 date (otherwise, it could be a rare transitional on a later date, but that is very unlikely!)

The error occurred when a dime planchet was fed into a press that was striking half dollars and was struck. Instead of being ejected, it stuck to the reverse die, and a Kennedy half planchet was fed into the press on top of this coin, and was struck into it, giving the coin a "uniface obverse" on the 2nd strike. Scarce combo error!

MS63 with moderate toning and lustrous surfaces.
