CACG proof 1971-S Jefferson nickel with no "S" mintmark, with the mintmark missing from the die. The coin should have an "S" mintmark, but due to a mistake at the mint, the "S" mintmark was never punched into the die resulting in this "no s" die variety. It is listed as FS-501.

PR65 with a great deal of frosting on the devices, and mostly white surfaces. A faint hint of a fingerprint reverse.
