NGC 1977 Jefferson nickel struck on a 1976 Lincoln cent. The coin is a dual-date double-denomination, and so has a 1977 date as well as a 1976 date visible. Additionally, Lincoln can be seen over the top of Jefferson's bust, and also some of the lettering is visible. On the reverse, the Lincoln Memorial is plainly visible as well as some of the lettering.

The "1976" date can be seen on Jefferson's lapel in the 6 o'clock area of the coin's obverse.

A rare error type, with approximately 10 known dual-date 6c.
