PCGS 1977-D Eisenhower dollar struck 45% off-center at 12 o'clock. A perfect example of an off-center Ike dollar, with fantastic eye-appeal! The coin shows about half of the design and planchet, is positioned to show Ike's face, the full date and mintmark area, and much of the primary design.

The error occurred when a planchet was fed into the press and did not fall fully into the collar die, but remained about half off-center. As a result, only about half the design was struck into the coin.

Very dramatic in appearance, and a coin that any error Ike dollar collector would love to own.

PCGS MS65 with blazing luster and a faint hint of original blue-gold toning. A superb coin!
