NGC 1979-S Susan B. Anthony dollar struck on cent planchet. The coin is struck on the much smaller planchet of a Lincoln cent, and so is copper-alloy, and weighs 3.1 grams. It is smaller than a normal SBA dollar, with much of the outer lettering and design missing.

Very dramatic in appearance, with the copper-alloy planchet being strikingly different in appearance, and also it is so much smaller than a normal dollar coin. A popular off-metal, and scarce, with a rough estimate of 50 SBA's on cent planchets known for all dates and mints.

NGC MS64 Red with a sharp strike and slightly mirrored fields on the reverse. A beautiful example, and about as nice as the come.
