NGC 1953 wheat cent off-metal struck on a silver 10c planchet. The coin is the design of a cent, but is struck on the smaller planchet of a silver dime. The coin is missing some of the outer design elements, and is smaller than a cent at 2.5 grams. 

A scarce date for cents on dime planchets.

AU details with some moderate scratches obverse and reverse. There is some old PVC on the coin, which could be removed.
