NGC 2023 silver American eagle, with a curved clip at K-4. The clip is small, but significant on a silver eagle because clips on silver eagles are rare.
Very few are known, and this is only one of an estimated 10 known for the series.
The reason for their rarity is that, as a precious metal coin, which is valued for it's weight in precious metal, extreme care is taken to make sure the coins are "full weight", which means that clips (which reduce a coin's weight) are almost unknown on bullion coins like this one.
