CENTRAL STATES COIN SHOW
The central states coin show was busy, with many dealers in attendance, and a decent number of collectors as well. It was nice to see a number of long time customers at the show, including some "old timers" in the error hobby (you know who you are!), who always have a wealth of experience and insight. There is a fairly large contingent of young collectors and young coin dealers at shows in the last several years, which is good to see--the future coin dealers and collectors!
CONECA (the largest error coin club) had a table, and were working to sign up club members. If you are not a member, it's worth joining the club for the publication and connections to other collectors.
We picked up a large amount of inventory. Not many "special coins" were at the show, just average mint errors in terms of rarity--but that's why they are called "rare" (they don't show up often.) We have many coins from the show listed in this recent group of coins, and will be listing more as we get them back from grading services. There were some rare pieces that we were shown, but we were not able to buy any (yet!)
SPECIAL NOTE
We will be closed temporarily from May 7th-22nd. Any orders now through Tuesday morning will be shipped out, so but orders after that will be on hold until we can ship them on the 23rd. Thank you for your patience.
