PCGS (1840-1935) U.S silver dollar type-1 blank. This blank was intended for Morgan, peace, or seated dollar coins. It's rim was never upset, due to the blank having missing the upset mill, and is therefore a type-1 blank. The blank weighs 26.85 grams.
Scarce, and fewer type-1's are known than type-2's.
AU58 with brown toning and nice surfaces. A hint of old PVC on the edges (easily removed--not even noted on the holder.)
