NGC 1957-D Lincoln wheat cent double-denomination, overstruck on a Roosevelt dime. The coin shows the designs of both a cent and a dime, with Roosevelt's head visible on the cent's obverse, and the torch and design of the dime visible on the cent's reverse. Also, the coin shows reeding on the edge, which is from the dime. It is the silver alloy of a dime, and dramatic and eye-catching in appearance.

The error occurred when a normally struck Roosevelt dime was fed into a press that was striking Lincoln wheat cents. When it was struck, the coin has the design of a cent over the design of a dime, and was on the planchet of a silver dime.

Silver cent on dime double-denominations are rare, and only a very small number are known.

MS63 with lustrous, almost 100% white surfaces.
