NGC (1865-1889) three cent nickel mid-stage brockage die cap strike. The coin shows a brockage from a die cap, with portions of the wreach and the Roman numeral "III" from the reverse visible. 

Brockages are rare on three cent nickels, and very few are known.

Note: NGC described it as a "mirror brockage" on the holder.
